We’ve been having a blast taking different trips during our adventure week. On Wednesday our friends at Firstrust Bank sponsored our visit to the Franklin Institute.
We had the opportunity to explore all the fun exhibits one-by-one while learning something new at each stop. Our kids loved racing each other in the sports zone and tried their luck at the giant mechanical crane game. However, the best part of the day was lunchtime.
Each kid got a packaged lunch with their choice of sandwich (ham, turkey, or pb&j), carrots, apple, chips, and a cookie. We also got to eat to try brownie pops that were frozen in liquid nitrogen! Following lunch there was an exciting “science show” teaching us all about the different states of matter. We ended the afternoon with a sundae bar and impromptu dance party.
Firstrust set us up with everything we got to experience and we can’t thank them enough for treating us to this special day. If you want to learn more, click the link below to see CBS Philly’s coverage of the event.
