Dominique Bernardo, MBA, MSW is CEO of Variety – the Children’s Charity of the Delaware Valley having joined the organization after more than 17 years with Congreso de Latinos Unidos, a non- profit with a mission to enable individuals and families in predominantly Latino neighborhoods to achieve self-sufficiency and well-being. Throughout her tenure with the Congreso, she amassed considerable experience in every function of the organization – from program development and delivery, to human resources, quality assurance and finance.
A tireless community leader and advocate, Bernardo currently sits on the boards of Open Dreams and the Superstar Foundation, and is an Ambassador of the Leap of Reason Community. She recently completed a four-year term as a board member of the Montgomery County Development Corporation.
Bernardo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton in 1993 and Masters degrees in Business Administration and Social Work from Boston College in 1999. She and her husband, Jose, are the parents of three children.
