Paving the Way to Variety’s Next Chapter

2020 brought us continued generosity from our wonderful neighbor, Allan Myers. In December, we cut the ribbon to a newly-constructed and paved exit driveway on our 77-acre Worcester campus. This gift, donated in time and materials by Allan Myers, will greatly improve safety on campus for clients, families and staff.

“Parents, visitors and school buses will now be able to safely and efficiently loop through our campus,” said Variety CEO, Dominique Bernardo. “We are so grateful to Allan Myers who has done so much to ensure Variety’s sustainability in this community.”

Bob Herbein, a Variety board member and Allan Myers executive, added, “The team at Allan Myers is proud to support Variety and the great work they do to support children and young adults with disabilities. From the camps and ESY to the exciting Variety Works program – the Variety team delivers programs that are much needed to families throughout the Delaware Valley. This new driveway not only supports better traffic flow on campus – it is hopefully also the first step toward additional planned capital improvements on the campus that will pave the way to impacting more children and families in need of Variety’s services.”

Our new exit drive is just one of many projects that are paving to Variety’s next chapter.

At the end of 2021, three beautiful, new road signs that were gifted to Variety by a generous supporter and we could not be more thrilled and excited about our updated look!

“Our new look reflects the energy we feel throughout our campus and serves as an open invitation for everyone to visit us and share in all that we’re doing to serve youth and young adults with disabilties.” said Bernardo. “These truly are ‘signs of the times!’”
