Our After School Program (ASP) at Variety offers Expanded Learning Time to increase skill acquisition, maintenance, generalization, and overall achievement for our students. The program embodies a person-centered philosophy, which fosters independence and assists in customizing a life path that considers a student’s specific and unique interests, strengths, and personal objectives. Located at our Worcester campus, the After School Program is open to students ages 5-21 and staffed at a 1:3 staff to student ratio. The curricular content areas include social and pre-vocational skill development, activities of daily living, community integration, social skills development and emotional regulation, fostering independence, sensory integration, recreational activities & more! The program runs September- June, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 2:30-6:00pm. Please note that at this time, 1:1 support can only be provided through an external behavioral health agency at an additional program fee.
