Ages 5-21:
Our After School Program (ASP) at Variety offers Expanded Learning Time to increase skill acquisition, maintenance, generalization and overall achievement for our students. Our programs embody a person-centered philosophy that fosters independence and assists in customizing a life path that considers a student’s specific and unique interests, strengths, and personal objectives.
In partnership with The Widener Memorial School in Philadelphia, PA, Variety runs an After School Program for students with disabilities, ages 5-21. The program runs from September to May, Monday through Friday, from 3-6pm, FREE of cost.
The program is staffed at a 1:3 staff to student ratio and the curricular focus is social skills development, emotional regulation, building self-esteem, community integration, STEAM, and more! Please reference the School District of Philadelphia’s school year calendar for program closure dates. Please note the completion of the application does not guarantee acceptance.
