Greenhouse Coordinator Variety is seeking a full time Greenhouse Coordinator to manage the gardens and greenhouses year-round on its 77-acre campus. The Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Programming to plan each growing season, the management of land, non-certified wildlife habitats, and other outdoor spaces to ensure that the spaces are accommodating and accessible for use for educational training programs for children and young adults with disabilities. This position should blend educational opportunities for students while also maintaining a farm that produces enough produce to engage the local community in pop up produce shops throughout the year, but especially in the summer. Candidates for this position must be flexible and understanding of the functional limitations of the participants Variety supports while still encouraging growth and challenging participants to develop new skills and abilities. Candidates should be open and willing to develop new and creative ways to maximize land use and garden/greenhouse use. Housing may be available as part of the compensation package. Position will support Facilities team as appropriate and seasonally.
